It is a system for reusable food packaging: you borrow a container against a deposit, return it after use and receive your deposit back. The container is then washed and put back into circulation — like a bottle deposit system, but for meals.
The return station is a smart collection unit installed on site. When a container is returned, it automatically identifies it and immediately refunds the deposit. It integrates with your systems (checkout, payment methods and loyalty programmes) and feeds into traceability software that tracks each container: stock levels, fleet management and return rates.
There are three options: an upfront deposit (refunded when the container is returned), a deferred deposit (charged only if the container is not returned) and a reward-based system (the user receives a reward when returning the container). We select the model best suited to your needs.
